Activity Description

In a world of constant motion, light, noise, and buzz this class will help each student develop physically and mentally in a positive nurturing manner. Yoga, combined with all the benefits of mindfulness, makes this class an experience filled with joy and happiness.

Children derive enormous benefits from yoga. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. Also, their concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation improve. Doing yoga, children exercise, play, connect more deeply with the inner self, and develop an intimate relationship with the natural world that surrounds them. Mindfulness is more than just paying attention. It’s developing awareness of what’s happening both outside and inside oneself, and one’s physical being in the world.

Classes are designed for all ages and levels.
