Learning to cook helps kids learn about nutrition and healthy eating. The children are involved in all aspects of the cooking process.

Students will learn what a balanced diet is and how they can take their favorite dishes and make them healthier. They will sharpen their culinary skills; explore their culinary creativity, practice safety in the kitchen and proper food handling techniques. Each class is unique and designed to familiarize children with diverse foods, tools, and techniques while experiencing what it feels like to create and taste recipes themselves! This helps build self-confidence, creativity and life-long skills.

Sample menu below:
• Chicken, Vegetables Wraps, and homemade dressings.
• Flourless Brownies, Carrot/Zucchini Cupcakes with Homemade Frostings
• Fruit Parfaits, Homemade Nut Free Granola, Whole Grain Pancakes/Waffles
• Around The World dishes like; Chinese Dumplings, Fried Rice, Naan Bread with Curry Chicken, Whole Grain Pizza, and Homemade Pasta.

Our class curriculum is always varied and will be adapted to reflect the experience of our students.
